Join other individuals, couples and families with children five and older in Window Rock, AZ., where Church of the Resurrection partners with Four Corners Native American Ministry to present Vacation Bible Camps, work together on small construction projects and much more. Trips typically include a service in English and Navajo, culture day activities, guest speakers and a lot of fun!

Also, in Family Missions, kids do a lot of the work. No sitting on the sidelines here. Our children work side-by-side with Navajo children to put on the VBC, sing, dance, do artwork, small construction projects, and most importantly … PLAY!

Team leaders will be Rick Mann and Lisen Tammeus Mann, who have led trips to Navajo Nation and have served in Guatemala, West Africa, Jamaica and more. For more information, go to www.cor.org/navajonation.

Today we had a packed house! Members of the congregation worked with us on electrical projects. Our 7 kids leading prayers dance … Hello God, and thanks. One more day of VBC and then its culture day and then revival on Navajo farm. One of our kids, Emmie, age 10, who was on our March mission wanted the VBC kids to all do a service project.  We will be bringing back cards and homemade bracelets from Navajo that are to go to kids inHaiti, Honduras etc where we have mission teams. Emmie led the entire planning, purchasing of beads and explained it to the kids here. They loved it! We have great pictures and video of the project.

Sorry for brief report but signal here is spotty at best! Will try to get pictures & video up soon. We have an amazing team of adults and children. We had a packed house for VBC today. Some parents and grandparents came with their local children. The Pastor from Sawmill church came down with his family, the older son helping at VBC. We are working on an outdoor patio right now with help from the Windowrock Congregation. Another VBC day tomorrow then tent revival at Navajo family farm near ft defiance on Thursday.
